Next week sees the launch of our online, substantially prepopulated, proposal form.

This will offer the majority of our existing solicitor clients a simpler, more efficient renewal process.

Introductory briefing on completing the online form

We appreciate that the introduction of any new technology can be daunting for some of you.  With that in mind, we are holding a couple of short briefings (lasting no more than half an hour), which you can watch from the comfort of your own desk, which will take you, step by step, through the new form.

Unlike many forms, we have really worked hard to make this one as simple as possible to use.  A key feature is that your proposal form should be a lot shorter - as we will only ask you questions that are relevant to your practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will my data be secure?

Yes - we use top industry standard encryption technologies and secure UK-based servers to host your data.

  • If my computer crashes will I lose all the information I have input into the form?

No.  The form auto-saves every two minutes, so that even if your computer crashes entirely, you will never lose a significant amount of data already entered.

  • Is the form complicated to follow?

No.  We have worked closely with a number of clients to ensure we deliver a form that is as easy to read and use as possible.  If anything, we beleive that it is easier to complete than the paper/pdf form.  It also has the added benefit of (i) being partially prepopulated, and (ii) preventing you from submitting a form with significant errors in it.  This will save you time in checking calculations and/or in amending returned forms.

  • Can I still complete a paper proposal form?

Yes.  If you really do not want to use the online system, we can still send you a pdf form to complete.  Or you can download it from our website.

  • I am a new client.  Can I use the online form?

This summer, we are only launching the online form to existing clients that fit certain criteria.  We will ensure that all data provided to us on pdf forms is entered into the new online system, ensuring that you can benefit from a prepopulated form in future.
